A poem by Christian Morgenstern

Just thought I'd share a whimsical poem with you today, written by the German poet Christian Morgenstern--in preparation for the weekend and for those of you (like me) who are in the process of fighting off a cold..........

The Sniffle

A sniffle crouches on the terrace
to catch a victim he can harass.

And suddenly he jumps with vim
upon a man by name of Schrimm.

Paul Schrimm, responding with "hatchoo",
is stuck with him the weekend through.

Another good one from Stephan Pastis

Yet another spot on Pearls Before Swine by Stephan Pastis.......
