Taking a break from the world's insanity and inanity

The current world situation is often unbearable to witness and to listen to. One gets tired of listening to the same hot-air clowns lecture the rest of us each day on some topic of little to no importance except to them. And they are clowns, make no mistake about it, except that their stupidity is a danger to us all.

How to deal with the malignant stupidity around us? Sometimes we need to take a break from it all. The insanity and the inanity of the world will be there when we get back from our break. But we need to prioritize our physical and mental health.

You can always make the decision to care about toxic people, but you do not need to subject yourself to their toxicity. You can wish them well and go on about your own life, unencumbered by their negativity. And by negativity, I mean extreme negativity, the kind that demoralizes and immobilizes you. That type of negativity is soul-crushing and ultimately life-crushing.
